Gränzgängig – Volksmusik auf neuen Wegen: Viertaktmotor mit

Description

Gränzgängig is a concert series dedicated to current folk music, questioning what defines folk and where its limits lie. Organized by the ensemble Viertaktmotor in collaboration with PROGR, the series invites national and international artists to experiment with and reinterpret folk music through improvisation and collaboration. The event includes a unique creative process where musicians rehearse together in a single session and present their work to the audience on the same evening. Emilia Amper, a renowned Swedish folk musician and Nyckelharpa virtuoso, joins the lineup, bringing her award-winning, boundary-crossing style to the stage. Attendees can also get a glimpse of the musical rehearsals earlier in the day.

Highlights

Contemporary folk music exploration; collaboration with international artists; live improvisation and reinterpretation; performance by Grammy-nominated Emilia Amper.
