Description
Brochures, posters, and even typographies are a paradise for historians. The prerequisite, however, is that they engage with the border areas of image and script cultures and also address the political question that is always inherent in graphics. The tour is intended as an attempt to historically classify the legacy of visual communication that arose in the context of propaganda and advertising. Please note that from October 1, 2026, new opening hours will apply at the Swiss National Museum Zurich. The museum, boutique, and bistro will now close at 5 p.m. on Thursdays, and the library at 6 p.m. Additionally, from January 5, 2027, changed admission prices will apply. The regular admission fee will be 18 francs (15 CHF reduced). Youth up to 18 years old will now have free admission (previously 16 years). The price for the annual pass with unlimited entry to all houses of the Swiss National Museum remains at 35 francs.
