The introductory day teaches the basics of working with Godly Play. Godly Play is a concept for playfully discovering the Bible and faith, developed by Jerome W. Berryman based on the pedagogy of Maria Montessori. GOTT IM SPIEL is the German-language adaptation and further development of Godly Play. Each unit includes 4 phases, including the presentation of a story using sensory, play-inspiring materials. The storytelling course imparts the necessary skills and knowledge to lead and accompany such processes, especially telling stories according to Godly Play. Godly Play/GOTT IM SPIEL can be fruitfully implemented in various practical fields, such as children's service, religious education, community pedagogy for children, adults, and seniors, as demonstrated by 30 years of international and long-term national experience.
