The pop duo Glasperlenspiel is one of the most successful German acts of recent years. With hits like "Geiles Leben" and "Paris," Carolin and Daniel stormed the charts and shaped modern German pop. The band was founded in 2010, and the name is inspired by Hermann Hesse's novel "Glasperlenspiel." In 2011, they represented Baden-Württemberg at the "Bundesvision Song Contest" and achieved fourth place with the song "Echt."
