Description

ROSHÂNI, which means 'light' in Persian, was formed in 2022 in Geneva from the meeting of Roxane Dumont (guitar, vocals) and Inès Mouzoune (bass, keyboards, production). Drawing from their Persian, Moroccan, and Bulgarian roots, they blend rhythmic electro-pop with lyrics in Farsi, French, English, and Spanish, creating a unique sound that is both captivating and infectious. Their hypnotic groove is based on Inès' extremely groovy drum sequences, bass lines, and riffs, further emphasized by Roxane's raw voice. Glaascats is a band whose music is characterized by curiosity, instinct, and a love for understated sounds. With influences from alternative, DIY, and folk – inspired by artists like Broadcast, Ty Segall, Peter Paul & Mary, and Osees – the band creates music that feels personal and gently captivates the audience. Beyond the music, Glaascats places great importance on visual identity and self-production. Each recording is composed, mixed, and mastered by the band themselves – a process that allows them to develop a truly unique sound.
