Giulia Tonelli & CHAARTS - Not of This World

Description

The captivating creation of music, dance, and Schubert's letters is dedicated to beauty. Besides the interpretation of the epochal masterpiece "Death and the Maiden," Franz Schubert himself is at the center – an artist who, like few others, was able to transform the fragility of life into moving beauty. His letters are marked by sensitivity, reflection, and the search for meaning. Death here does not appear as horror but in the form of a woman. She embraces what Schubert, what we all cannot fend off, and thus "Death and the Maiden" becomes a bittersweet approach to the end, which finds reconciliation through art. The Italian music star Enzio Bosso died at 49. Already marked by illness, he conveyed the message until the end to understand the beauty of life and nature as a source of strength. Giulia Tonelli, raised in Pisa, was prima ballerina of the Zurich Ballet. She also danced at the Royal Ballet and Teatro alla Scala. In 2022, she became widely known through the film "Becoming Giulia." Michele Pastorini, born in Sicily, is a dancer and choreographer. He was the principal soloist at the Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka. His choreographic language combines powerful physicality, theatricality, and a human-centered approach. Program
