Description
Those who want to explore the history of care and coercion in their own life, family, or personal environment will find support and guidance in the free, three-part history workshop. Together with experts, participants embark on a search for clues and learn to connect personal stories with historical sources. Central questions include: Where can information be found? How can files be researched? Who supports the search in archives? And how can one's own story be told or – if desired – recorded in writing? The workshop is accompanied, among others, by journalist and biographer Esther Banz and historian Andrea Gautschi. The first two sessions take place at the Historical Museum Baden, the third leads to the State Archive Aargau in Aarau and offers insights into historical research on site. The history workshop is aimed at those affected, relatives, and interested parties and offers a protected space for personal research, understanding, and processing. Dates
