Description
The traditional pumpkin market (Chürbismärit) in Gerzensee is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Over the course of two days, visitors can discover more than 80 varieties of pumpkins in the atmospheric castle courtyard, while other stalls from the region offer handmade crafts and culinary specialties. Of course, the food is all about pumpkins; there’s pumpkin soup, raclette with pumpkin specialties, pumpkin chips, and crepes. There’s plenty for kids to enjoy, too—a wide variety of games, a bouncy castle, and a carousel await them.
