Description
A gourmet event as part of the Baselbieter Genusswoche - www.baselbieter-genusswoche.ch Standard trees shape the landscape of our region. Tons of top-quality fruit still grow on them. However, these hardly find any market anymore.
In the Posamenter project, we process the harvest of as many trees as possible, develop high-quality products, and open up new sales markets so that the trees will remain standing in the future.
In weeks 33 to 40, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and/or Saturday, about 200kg of freshly picked plums await processing in the morning. The fruits are largely pitted by hand. The more fruit can be processed, the more trees will remain in Oberbaselbiet!
A nice start to the day, as the joint pitting is a sociable event of a special kind. A coffee break is guaranteed. Registration via Nuudel link at
