Description
The garden of the cultural monastery is not only an inspiring place for relaxation but also a habitat for over 50 different species of wild bees.
During the garden tour, you will get to know a selection of these wild bee species and hear impressive stories about their ways of life. With some luck and suitable weather, we will also be able to observe wild bees on site. Using the monastery garden as an example, we will see and learn about the valuable contribution that nature-friendly gardens can make to the promotion and protection of wild bees. You will also receive tips from wild bee specialist Fabian von Mentlen on how to effectively promote wild bees at home. Tours at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Registration at kultur@kulturkloster.ch is required by the day before.
Maximum 20 people per tour. The monastery café will be open on this day! Led by Fabian von Mentlen, wild bee specialist
