150 years of gymnastics in Avenches — two evenings to celebrate it. The Society of Gymnastics of Avenches was founded in 1876. One hundred and fifty years later, the team spirit of its first members remains as strong — and we look forward to reviving it with you, on November 20 and 21, 2026, at our grand anniversary gala at the Collège de Sous-Ville. Two evenings, two atmospheres, one goal: to celebrate this symbolic milestone together. **Friday, November 20 — The Gym Night** This first evening brings together the entire society. From Parent-Child groups to Active members, each group performs on stage with a number created for the occasion. A friendly and family-oriented evening, where young and old — gymnasts and their loved ones — enjoy the show together. *Provisional program* \- First part: Parent-Child, Enfantines, Polysport 6-9 years, Polysport 10-12 years, Gym Dance, Active members \(equipment combination\) \- Second part: Individual apparatus, Mixed 7-11 years, Mixed 12-16 years, Active members \(floor\) and Aerobic Team. Small raffle and on-site catering. Doors: 6:30 PM — Show: 7:30 PM Entry: CHF 20.– — tickets on sale from Monday, November 2, 2026 **Saturday, November 21 — The Dinner-Show** Then, a more intimate evening: a festive meal accompanied by top-level performances, featuring invited groups from French-speaking Switzerland. For one exceptional evening, our Active members will share the stage with them — by reservation. *On stage* : Gym Serrières (mini-trampoline jump), FSG Lucens (gymnastics on stage), Gym Morges (floor), FSG Fribourg (bouncing rings), and Gym Avenches (floor). *Menu* : aperitif, assorted seasonal salads, Chinese fondue (meat trio and rice) or vegetarian option, and a sweet treat from the chef. Raffle and bar will animate the evening. Aperitif: 6:00 PM — Dinner: 7:00 PM Price: CHF 80.– (dinner included) — tickets on sale from Monday, August 31, 2026. Limited seats, don’t delay!
