Description

Originally conceived as an in situ performance to inhabit an industrial zone, this large-scale multidisciplinary creation is reinventing itself here for the stage. About fifteen young artists – dancers, tracers, and skaters trained at UMA (Urban Move Academy), accompanied by a drag performer – take over the space for a breathtaking physical and stroboscopic performance. Choreographies, acrobatics, and dizzying slides follow one another with raw energy, telling the story of the impetuosity of youth rebelling against senseless urbanization. Driven by the music of Eric Linder and Varoujan Chetirian, the flights of this new kind of troupe merge with the text of British artist Kae Tempest. This fiery poetry celebrates culture where you least expect it, transforming the theater into a monumental playground. Proof that asphalt has its place in the biggest halls, this immersive and liberating show is a family experience for an adrenaline rush!
