Malte Schröder – 13 years old and completely average, as he himself finds – is taken by his mother to a mysterious holiday camp of the Arthur McPush Company during the summer. Here he meets young people who are very different from him. Unlike him, everyone is gifted in a special way and extraordinary! At the camp, they can hone their skills, freely develop their interests, and decide for themselves how they want to live together. Because there are no adults here – no teachers, no parents, no rigid structures. Here, it’s not about what you have to achieve, but who you want to be. In this radical freedom, a community grows where being different becomes a superpower. But appearances are deceptive. When it turns out that everything is different from what was expected and who is really behind this dubious voice speaking to the young people, resistance is required. Till Wiebel tells an exciting story about the courage not to conform and the power of a generation that finds its own voice.
