Guided Tour in Muglin Mill

Description

In 2004, the abandoned mill from the 17th century was carefully restored and opened to visitors. In the approximately 350-year-old building, one of the oldest functioning mills in Switzerland can be visited today. The two deep-ditch Strauber wheels drive the mill and the stamper. Visitors gain insight into an old rural craft and can follow the path of the grain all the way to the bread.

General Information

The mill in Sta. Maria Val Müstair was restored in 2004 and is today one of the oldest functioning mills in Switzerland. Visitors can follow the path of the grain to the bread and see the historic machines.
