Funky Fruits and Silly Seeds

Juicy fruits, crunchy fruits, red or green... Tiny seeds, giant seeds, some that stick, others that fly away... the diversity of fruits and seeds is enormous! We will discover all these shapes and ways of traveling with the seed collection of the Botanical Garden, before making a craft to take home. As part of the Green Workshops at the Geneva Botanical Garden, on Wednesday afternoons, children are invited to share our passion for the plant and fungal world in a fun and educational way. The program includes thematic investigations, sensory discoveries, botanical explorations, and many other activities. The living collections of the Botanical Garden are the setting for these workshops offered by mediators, gardeners, and scientists from the Botanical Garden in collaboration with volunteers from the Uni3, University of Seniors of Geneva.
