Description

In the first Rock & Pop Museum in Switzerland, thousands of original signatures as well as around 250 original gold and platinum awards from artists and groups are presented. The Rock & Pop Museum focuses, unlike other (music) museums, not on one artist (e.g. Elvis Presley) or a group (like the Beatles Museum in Hamburg, which closed in 2012), but on the history of popular music, starting at the beginning of the 20th century with W.C. Handy, the "Father of the Blues," up to the 1980s and 1990s with Michael Jackson, R.E.M., U2, and many more! Various tours are offered, which are visible on the website.
