The pianist, soloist and chamber musician Mogilevsky impresses with individual interpretations of classical pieces as well as his emotional and captivating concert performances. Celebrated by the press as an overwhelming, genial virtuoso and Liszt successor, he repeatedly presents exciting own arrangements. In an entire evening, the pianist dedicates himself to the works of Frédéric Chopin and presents a variety of brilliant waltzes, nocturnes, and polonaises.
His concert programs stand out through fresh energy and the absence of fixed patterns. They always reflect interesting concepts and ideas. Always searching for high-quality rarities, Mogilevsky not only plays the typical classical standard repertoire but also revives unknown works of great composers.
Vladimir Mogilevsky was born in Moscow, his talent was nurtured early, so that at the age of 8 he already performed pieces at renowned festivals. Mogilevsky completed his studies at the Gnessin Music Academy with the highest distinction as a concert pianist.
Since 1995, Vladimir Mogilevsky has been living in Germany.
