The pop-up exhibition "Traces of Women in the Indoor Pool" spans from the struggles for equality in the 20th century through current challenges to the visions of young women today. It shows the progress made, where inequalities still exist, and why equality is not a completed state. Society changes where people share their experiences, take responsibility, and open new perspectives. The former Rosenau indoor pool, with its changing rooms, lockers, hairdryer stations, and empty swimming pools, offers an extraordinary setting to creatively and surprisingly stage women's history, social developments, and future prospects. The exhibition makes the forgotten visible, encourages questioning social imprints, and recognizing current challenges. At the same time, it opens space for visions and invites visitors to jointly develop ideas for a sustainable society. At various interactive stations, in listening booths, under the utopia shower, at the cliché poison cabinet, or in the archive corner, visitors can actively engage with the topics, contribute their own experiences, and discover new perspectives. The bistro in the former swimming pool becomes a special space for encounters and exchange as well as thematic deepening. With suitable events (impulses, lectures, celebrations), topics with depth can be explored.
