With «Lip Sync» and precise body language, it will become hilariously funny with Sarah Hugentobler. Full of self-irony and satire, Moët takes us right into the quarter-life crisis. And while Katja Früh reads from her novel «Vielleicht ist Liebe so», Madlen Arnold tells the little ones a funny cardboard picture story. The festival is rounded off by the women’s band of the Uri Music School and Interregio: Marisa Jüni and Nadja Merian entertain with dialect songs about missed trains and cheap coffee. Free admission Sarah Hugentobler – Floating Knights, 2:45 p.m.
Three men talk about their wishes and insecurities: R. thinks too often about what others think of him, P. needs to learn to be silent more often, and C. is afraid to sing in front of an audience. Sarah Hugentobler develops a solo performance within 15 minutes (!) from personal conversations. Using lip sync and precise body language, the three voices take shape within the performer’s body. With fine humor and musicality, she makes the inner worlds of the three protagonists visible.

Katja Früh, born in Zurich in 1953, is a screenwriter and director. After studying acting in Berlin, she began directing and writing for the theater in 1978. From 1980, she worked at Swiss Radio DRS, produced for TV (including the over 10-year series «Lüthi und Blanc») and also realized projects with Martin Suter and Patrick Frey. Since 2014, she has been writing a regular column for «Das Magazin» in the «Tages-Anzeiger». «Vielleicht ist die Liebe so» is her first novel.

Madlen Arnold tells a funny and warm-hearted story in the foyer of Theater Uri with her popular large cardboard pictures. It’s about the bear, his friend – and about that one moment when suddenly everyone looks weird and you wonder: «Did I forget something?» A story about not having to hide when something goes wrong again – and how nice it is to have someone by your side. Stay cool and keep breathing» – Madlen’s little reminder to stay friendly with yourself.

In the teachers’ lounge, on the train, or during Power Yoga – they lurk everywhere: people. And we cannot escape these encounters. Without a healthy dose of sarcasm, survival can become a challenge. Maybe that also explains my relationship status. With the first name of a champagne and right in the middle of the quarter-life crisis, it’s all about the big encounter zone called life. Be ready for an evening full of satire, self-irony, and one or two questions about being human. I look forward to our encounter.
Admission: CHF 25.00 Interregio – Dialect songs with melancholy and subtle humor, 9:15 p.m.
Interregio is the band of singer-songwriters Marisa Jüni and Nadja Merian. They enchant and entertain with dialect songs about missed trains, cheap coffee, and hope that lingers. Accompanied by cello, violin, piano, double bass, and drums, they create a warm and dreamy sound. Nadja and Marisa are melancholic optimists. They love contrasts: the bright in the dark, the quiet in the loud, red in light blue. Both work visually, create images, and let acting and theatricality flow into their music. The stage is for them a place without borders. A big playground. With their almost pure women’s band, they consciously promote visibility of female musicians in a still male-dominated field. They invite reflection and shared dreaming.
