Frau Lehmann - Trost und Trotz Tour

Description

Frau Lehmann is a quartet from Leipzig that combines poetic indie rock with raw urban melancholy. At the center of the songs are the lyrics and the compelling performance by Fiona Lehmann – direct, vulnerable, and at the same time full of power. The music moves between longing, nightlife, and the feeling of being alone in a city full of people. Comparisons with bands like Element of Crime or Isolation Berlin are obvious but ultimately fall short. Because Frau Lehmann creates their very own sound between literature, indie rock, and chanson – sometimes rough and urgent, sometimes tender and lost. With the EP “Vier Jahreszeiten,” the band first gained attention beyond the Leipzig scene in 2022. In 2024, the split EP “Gewäsch” followed together with the side project “Dirty Dishes” by Jan Müller (Tocotronic). In January 2026, the debut album “Trost & Trotz” was finally released on La Pochette Surprise Records – an album that was enthusiastically received by audiences and press and firmly established Frau Lehmann as one of the most exciting voices in German-language indie.
