Training: How to Prepare a Support Request File

Description

Every artist is one day or another faced with finding funds and preparing a support request file. In one day, learn how to put together an effective, tailored file that reflects your project. After providing practical tools and an overview of support institutions, you will understand the different components of a grant application through concrete examples. This training is open and accessible to everyone. Depending on the available time, it will be possible to analyze the participants' files. Materials to bring:

• Your computer if you wish
• Something to take notes
• Your support request file — or a draft of it — on a USB key, if you want the speakers to analyze it during the training.

• Presentation of support institutions
• Overall view of a project
• Structure of a support request file and funding plan
• Analysis of different files and practical exercises

Speakers: Laetitia Gauchat: cultural administrator and audiovisual producer who has worked on numerous fundraising projects in the fields of theater, visual arts (exhibition), and video.
Matthieu Vouga: administrator of La Case à Chocs and expert in contemporary music for the extraordinary grants commission of the City of Neuchâtel.
