Description

At the alpaca fondue evening, guests can enjoy a unique experience surrounded by fluffy alpacas. Aperitif:
The evening begins with a cozy aperitif. While the alpaca owners tell interesting facts about their animals, the participants get to know the herd. Outdoor fondue on the pasture:
Afterwards, the guests enjoy a fondue à Discrétion directly on the pasture, surrounded by the alpacas. This gives you the opportunity to learn even more about these fascinating animals. The fondue experience lasts around 2-3 hours and includes regional cheese fondue to mix yourself, bread, potatoes and non-alcoholic drinks such as coffee, tea and mineral water. During the evening, guests experience enjoyable moments in a cozy atmosphere and immerse themselves in the world of alpacas together with colleagues, family or friends. Markus Gysin and his partner Melanie run the Wüest farm on the Zunzgerberg with a lot of heart and soul. More than 40 Huacaya alpacas have been living there for almost ten years, and Markus has been fascinated by their calm and curious nature from the very beginning. He takes great care to ensure that they are kept in a respectful, species-appropriate manner - once a year, the fine wool is gently shorn and processed. Markus particularly enjoys sharing his love of animals with visitors, for example at atmospheric winter fondue parties or alpaca yoga and picnics in summer. The farm is only around 25 minutes from Basel.
