The concert series Flury and The Nuborns enters its fourth round. The Nuborns are a music and research group. The emergence and development of jazz and pop music are part of their research area. Although the technology needed has been available since Edison’s phonograph in 1880, the early phase of popular music remains completely undocumented and forever a mystery. In this nebulous space of cultural fusion, from oral culture to written culture, the Nuborns delve and seek their own version of early pop music through composition, interplay, and improvisation. *** In this edition, the solid Nuborns ensemble will also meet inspiring guests who open new facets and spaces.
