Content - Basic Module: Introduction to plant science, design and color theory, practical exercises (e.g., bouquets, wreaths), care and longevity of flowers, creative design with seasonal materials, inspiration from floral trends.

• Advanced Module: Deepening design fundamentals, expanding botanical knowledge, sketching techniques for floral designs, fostering creativity and personal style, practical and experiential teaching.
• Final Module: Preparation for the diploma exam, professional presentation of works, refinement of creative handwriting, basics of marketing and presentation.

Prerequisites - Interest in floristry, knowledge of the language of education required, level B2, minimum age 18 years.

• Advanced Module: Deepening and developing your skills (72 lessons)
• Final Module: Preparation for the diploma exam and completion of training (48 lessons).
• After successfully completing all three modules, you will receive the diploma "Floristry with Diploma," in cooperation with the Swiss Florist Association (florist.ch).

General information:

• Please bring writing utensils on the first day of the course.
• An apron or suitable clothing is advantageous. Good footwear is also recommended, as work is often done standing.

General Information

The floristry training takes place from March 19, 2027, to April 28, 2028, at the Klubschule Migros Wetzikon. It is aimed at interested individuals aged 18 and over and provides comprehensive knowledge and skills in floral design.
