Description

Theatrical exploration of the story of Olomouc native and leader of the Bratislava resistance Květoslava Viestová. After the performance, there will be a FemiPokec at Café nacucky! with Barbora Antonová, entry is free. Pavla Dostálová and Jakub Spišák together investigate who this "ordinary" housewife truly was and what the first Olomouc Flora meant. Despite all available sources, Viestová's life remains full of gaps. The production therefore does not follow a reconstructed story but examines individual traces and themes that are relevant in today's society. One of the most prominent aspects is the role of women in historical milestones and their often-overlooked bravery. Another is the contemporary chauvinism and stereotypes that persist to this day. The new work also addresses the tension between Czechoslovakism and Slovak nationalism.
