Description

The flimsfestival Christmas concerts traditionally begin with the matinee on the 4th Sunday of Advent at the Fidaz Church. Although in Scandinavia cinnamon rolls are more of a year-round classic than a specific Christmas tradition, they take on a special role during the cold season and are a staple of the cozy atmosphere of "Hygge": candlelight, Christmas decorations, culinary delights, socializing... and the matching music! Our this year's Christmas program is inspired by the "Danish String Quartet," whose characteristic, self-arranged versions of traditional Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, British, and Irish folk songs convey a blend of melancholy and light. These tangible sound worlds evoke vast landscapes or foggy coasts, performed by "ensemble le phénix" with both adventurous playfulness and Christmas warmth. You can not only smell the scent of Christmas but also hear it.
