Description
A simple accident Thriller/Crime Persian/d 103 Min. The focus of the story is on former prisoners of the Iranian regime who happen to meet their alleged tormentor. The spontaneously assembled tribunal must deal with questions of revenge and justice, with each of the five members handling the situation very differently. Director Jafar Panahi was himself imprisoned in Iran and sentenced to a professional ban. His film is a very clear critique of the methods of the theocratic state and its henchmen.
