Description

The Dalibor Havlíček Symphony Orchestra returns to České Budějovice with a new concert of beloved film melodies. The orchestra, which has performed over 100 concerts across the Czech Republic in its ten years of existence, brings another program full of film and musical hits. The concert will offer a diverse showcase of film melodies – from the western classic The Good, the Bad and the Ugly to the tension of Bond, the poetic Forrest Gump, and the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. Fans will also enjoy music from Pirates of the Caribbean and the musical Mamma Mia!. The orchestra has included well-known musical songs such as Jesus Christ Superstar, You're the One That I Want from the film Grease, and selections from the Czech musical Starci na chmelu. All performed by a symphonic body that emphasizes faithful interpretation, energy, and emotion.
