From October 2 to 4, 2026, La Grangette celebrates the 31st edition of its Fête du Vin Cuit. Throughout the weekend, discover a well-rooted Fribourg tradition: the production of Vin Cuit over an open fire. Over three days and two nights, about 4,000 liters of pear must, obtained from around 5,500 kg of pears, will be transformed in several kettles heated over an open fire. This traditional production requires patience, know-how, and the commitment of numerous volunteers. The approximately 400 liters of Vin Cuit produced will then be available for sale. You can also try various specialties prepared with Vin Cuit, including cakes, tarts, meringues, truffles with Vin Cuit, and Bénichon mustard. Friday, October 2: Start of Vin Cuit production over an open fire, lunch with friends of Vin Cuit, and Après-Ski evening. Registration for lunch with friends of Vin Cuit. Saturday, October 3: Continuation of Vin Cuit production over an open fire, card games, DJ evening. Sunday, October 4: Breakfast, folkloric atmosphere, continuation and conclusion of Vin Cuit production.
