About the event FestivaLLibro is a cultural event in Muralto that has been highlighting the world of books and publishing in the Italian-speaking Swiss region since 2019. The goal is to bring together readers and culture enthusiasts. Program - Salone del libro with publishers and cultural institutions - Meetings with authors - Presentations of new releases - Evenings with guests of particular interest - Activities for children and young people with workshops, performances, and school activities. Features The event combines literature with cinema, illustration, and other artistic expressions. The spaces of Muralto are transformed into an open «Cittadella del Libro», promoting encounter and exchange. FestivaLLibro is also a spin-off of the Locarno Film Festival and shares with it the dialogue between literature and film. More information can be found on the official website of the event.
