Description

Florence of the North. The white rocks of Pálava, autumn vineyards bathed in golden light, and cellars where wine is poured by true masters. The festival returns after three years with the 38th festival in the southernmost foothills of Pálava and the vineyards of Dunajovské Hills. The limestone ridge of Pálava and the horizon of the sandy Dunajovské Hills create a unique sun-drenched wine landscape. White varieties dominate here, led by Welschriesling, with excellent forms regularly shown by Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, and Grüner Veltliner. The festival will connect wineries in the historic streets of Mikulov with cellars in Březí and Dolní Dunajovice. In the streets of Mikulov, you will walk between wineries with views of the castle and Svatý kopeček, wander from cellar to cellar in Březí, and observe the entire horizon of Pálava in Dolní Dunajovice. There will be music among the cellars, festival gastronomy, and the atmosphere of autumn in Southern Moravia. The price of the two-day ticket includes entry to all cellars with tastings of at least 300 festival wines, a printed guide, a festival app, a tasting glass, a stylish textile bag, and unlimited rides on festival buses between the villages. The festival starts on Saturday, October 24, with cellars open from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The registration point for festival bags and glasses will be on the ground floor of the Gymnázium and Střední odborné školy Mikulov on Komenského Street. Shuttle transport will run between the villages throughout the event. Ticket pre-sales started on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM on the festival's e-shop. Festival capacity is limited.
