Las Noches is an international festival for Ibero-American chamber music. It takes place from September 29 to October 4, 2026, for the sixth time at the Theater Stok Zurich. Duo Joncol: Britta Schmitt & Carles Guisado Moreno (guitars) Hèctor Rodríguez Palacios (flutes) The Duo Joncol has been captivating audiences since 2008 with expressive guitar playing that blends Spanish classical, flamenco, and jazz. After studying in Barcelona and Cologne, the award-winning musicians completed a master's degree in Lucerne. Their international concert activities have taken them across Europe and America. In addition to their own arrangements and compositions, they have released three albums to date. Hèctor Rodríguez Palacios is a flutist and educator based in Zurich. He teaches at ZHdK and works as a project manager at FHNW. His artistic work ranges from historical performance practice to contemporary music, for which he won the prestigious Swiss Concours Nicati in 2023. He studied in Dresden, Zurich, and Trossingen and regularly collaborates with leading baroque and chamber ensembles as well as orchestras.
