Description

Festival Images, the first Swiss outdoor photography festival, takes place every two years, from mid-September to early October. The festival, which is completely free, is quickly becoming known and recognized thanks to the monumental photographs displayed in the streets of Vevey. Exhibitions at various locations promote contemporary photography, including works competing for the International Grand Prize of Photography in Vevey. For each edition of this competition - one of the most well-attended in Europe - the organizers receive submissions from over 800 professionals. To highlight the works of the participants in the Grand Prix while simultaneously connecting two editions of the festival, the event organizers manage an exhibition platform at the station: the Espace Quai1.
