Festival of Recognition for Carers' Day 2026

Description

On the occasion of the national Carers' Day, the "Festival of Recognition 2026" will take place at and around Haus Olé in the city center of St. Gallen. The public event offers carers, families, and interested parties a framework for relief, meeting, and information exchange. - Culinary: Catering at Café Olé with coffee, cake, and grilled dishes. - Music & Entertainment: Musical accompaniment by singer-songwriter Andy McSean and entertainment with balloon artist Thomaselli. - Family & Children: Two performances of the puppet theater by Nicole Langenegger (each lasting about 30 minutes, suitable for children from 4 years old). - Raffle: Wheel of fortune with prizes such as shopping vouchers, children's toys, gadgets for adults, and much more. - Information & Exchange: Stalls at Haus Olé and in the outdoor area (Aepliplatz and Bärenplatz) inform about local support services, care, and relief services. Organizer: Arana Care in cooperation with the specialist and coordination center Palliative Care Stadt St. Gallen and other partner organizations. This year, participating organizations include KinderSpitex Ostschweiz, Simdec OST, Senioren Notruf Sawires AG, Stiftung Joel Kinderspitex, Easy Ears GmbH, Spitex St. Gallen, physio@home, Taubblinden Kultur Forum, and others.
