Guided tour through the exhibition Beyond the Manosphere. Masculinities Today with subsequent exchange. The event is free and wheelchair accessible. What does it mean to be a man today? With the emergence of the so-called "Manosphere" – a network of online spaces, communities, and platforms where misogynistic ideas of masculinity are propagated – this question has become urgent. The exhibition takes the term Manosphere literally and reads it against the grain: if we imagine masculinity as a "sphere," what would we find inside? What cultural imaginaries and realities shape masculinity today, and what space do they occupy? The exhibition features works by 35 artists from the collections of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, as well as loans and new commissioned works. *all genders welcome*
