Dive into the Molasse Sea, which covered the Alpine foothills 20 million years ago. During a short guided tour, we encounter sharks, rays and other sea creatures. Their fossils impressively show how rich in species this primeval sea was. Selected objects from the collection provide fascinating insights into life and the ecological context of the Miocene. After the journey through time into the primeval sea, it's time to Surface and toast. Over a drink together in a thematically appropriate bar, we continue the exchange in a relaxed atmosphere and let the impressions from the primeval sea sink in together. On the way to the bar, we'll go on a fossil hunt! Short, vivid and inspiring: a compact insight into the hidden stories of our collection, followed by time for exchange and discussion in a relaxed atmosphere.
