Family Concert - Chaos in the Kingdom of Organum

Description

In the Kingdom of Organum, many things have gone wrong since the new Queen Winda arrived in the land. Suddenly, everyone becomes sick and weak, and the last hope lies in the smallest pipe of the kingdom. But how will Winda respond to their pleas and restore harmony and pleasant sound to the land? DUO MERULA Evamaria Felder, narration / Mirjam Wagner-Meister, organ "Chaos in the Kingdom of Organum" invites young and old to a playful journey of discovery into the fascinating world of the organ. Embedded in the story, children and adults learn about the structure and functioning of the organ: registers, manuals, pipe families, and the wind system are explained audibly and visibly. Visitors discover how versatile and unique each organ sounds. At the beginning, the storyteller tells the story on stage. Afterwards, the organ is explored and explained together – with music from different eras, many sound examples, and opportunities to participate. The entire program lasts a maximum of one hour.
