Description
Nick is a single young man in his thirties from New Jersey. His parents have retired and moved to Florida. However, the core of the family, grandparents from both his mother’s and father’s sides, Italian immigrants, still live in New Jersey. Nick visits them every Sunday for lunch. This time he has amazing news for them: he has received an offer for a position he has been waiting for. However, this comes with the obligation to move to the other side of the United States to Seattle. That is far from his beloved grandparents, who also often get on his nerves. Nick's wonderful news, however, is not received with enthusiasm. His grandparents cannot understand that Nick would dare to leave them. They start coming up with various scenarios to keep him at home. Next Sunday, they invite a cute young girl, Caitlin, for lunch and wait to see how things develop... In this delightful, heartwarming comedy, you will feel like you are with your own grandparents. Nick's Italian family may be closer to the Czech audience than to the audience in New York. The play has also been presented under the title Famílie.
