ABOUT TRUTH, MANIPULATION, AND PHOTOGRAPHY TODAY Duration: 3 hours. In the seminar, we explore the historical and societal dimensions of photographic manipulation. Using well-known and lesser-known image examples, we analyze forged, edited, and staged photographs and discuss current developments in AI-generated images. The goal of the seminar is for participants to develop their own nuanced stance on handling images, truth, and manipulation through images, lectures, and videos.
