Description

Queen Phaedra hates her husband Theseus, the legendary victor over the Minotaur and hero of many wars. In her eyes, he is nothing but a primitive brute. She despises every inch of his skin and regrets every second she has to spend in his presence. Luckily, he often leaves to plunder foreign lands, subjugate weaker nations, and violate other women. Hippolytus, his son from his first marriage, seems to be the perfect opposite of his father. He is fragile, gentle, and hates roughness and violence. Why couldn't Phaedra end up with someone like him?
