Description

Starting from May 3, 2026, the Jura Rural Museum invites the public to discover the temporary exhibition « It’s All Simple », dedicated to objects and practices of peasant work. The exhibition illustrates the relationship between domestic animals and farmers in our region in the past century. The evolution of production methods and the rapid mechanization in agriculture over recent years have relegated to the museum the tools and objects still used by our parents and grandparents. Immerse yourself in a not-so-distant past that is nevertheless long gone. Through this staging, visitors can explore regional history and heritage, discover the daily life of farms in the region, and appreciate the richness of traditional skills that have shaped the rural landscape.
