Description

Point de Rencontre explores textiles as a link between heritage and contemporary creation. Students from the N’Mod sector of CPNE-AA, under the direction of Simone Baeriswyl, present clothing inspired by Albanian, African, Tamil, Portuguese, and Ukrainian traditions. They revisit ancient techniques through a current artistic approach. Meanwhile, the art embroiderer Emuska unveils her unique pieces, where embroidery, beads, sequins, and recycled materials meet. Her work, marked by upcycling, offers another way to create and showcase artisanal skills.
