Plant joy in the branches. Join us for a workshop inspired by the book Hravocesta, where young creators will embark on an adventurous journey into the world of birds. What will we do? Children, together with artist Tereza Vostradovská, will create their own bird feeder and learn how we can make the winter time more enjoyable for our feathered visitors. The finished feeder can be taken home, allowing children to observe who comes to visit. About the Illustrator Tereza Vostradovská studied film and television graphics at the Academy of Art, Architecture and Design in Prague. She focuses on illustration, animation, graphic design, and creating for children. She is the author of the books Hravouka and Hravocesta, which combine playful learning, illustration, and nature exploration. Her books have been published in several language versions, and their world is also developed through interactive games and tablet applications. In addition to her own work, she conducts art workshops for children and participates in projects that support their creativity and curiosity. She lives and works in Prague, where she has her studio. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, gardening, her caravan, and exploring nature. Hravocesta A little mouse sharpened her pencil and set off on a journey with her travel diary. And what did she write in it? The routes of migratory birds, the shapes of branched roots, and marks for every falling star. But also sadness from trash or dirty water in the stream. So who will now sit in an armchair with her diary, and who would rather tear out just a few pages with instructions for building a water purifier or casting animal tracks, stuff them in their pocket, and immediately go try all of this? This is a continuation of the nature story from the book Hravouka, this time with questions and a board game on the endpapers. Lesson duration: 2 hours. Age: 5+ Capacity: 15 children. ...
