Description
The Podyjí National Park is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026, and one of the highlights is a new exhibition located in the former customs house by the bridge over the Dyje River, connecting the Moravian village of Čížov and the Austrian village of Hardegg. The exhibition is dedicated to the beauty of the villages located in the protective zone of the national park, their valuable harmonious image in the landscape, and their inner charm. The NP Podyjí administration aims to pay tribute to all local residents who care for the image of the villages through their diligent approach to maintaining and improving the settlements and land. The exhibition will be open from mid-June until the end of September 2026, and entry is free. Guided tours of the exhibition will take place during the opening on June 13 and then on July 18. The opening program will include a professional commentary with the exhibition's author, a meeting with the authors of the publication 'How to Build in Podyjí,' and accompanying activities for children. The guided tours will be led by photographer Michal Schneider and architect Milan Šuška. https://www.facebook.com/nppodyji https://www.nppodyji.czHighlights
