Immerse yourself in more than 250 years of court and family history: the exhibition in the historic Oberhaus lets you experience life in the Lake Zurich region since pre-industrial times. The Oberhaushof exhibition brings together objects and stories from ten generations of the Bühler family who lived and worked on this farm. On a guided tour through the historic Oberhaus, you can immerse yourself in the diverse past of life on the shores of Lake Zurich in the various rooms and get to know the men and women who shaped the fortunes of the farm and the family. For example, you will meet the builder of the Oberhaus or the much-traveled aunt who traded in shares. You will see how the inhabitants of the house lived, what they worked on and what they did in their free time. You don't just view the exhibits from afar behind glass, but move around the historic rooms among the antique furniture and are also allowed to pick up individual objects and look at them up close.
