What to do when patriarchy pisses you off? ETO's solution is rap. They bring anger to the beat, searching between the lines for answers. Sometimes they gently dissect themselves or shoot against the top, after all, there's only everything left to say, with voices that have been kept under the surface for too long. The rap crew manages the balancing act of adopting the rough vibe of rap without trampling marginalized people. ETO's concerts are meant to be a safe space, creating and connecting room for empowerment of tinfaq* people. Alwa Alibi sings as confidently as hardly anyone else in Switzerland about cars, love, and queerness. She is a lyricist, singer, and dream girl making dialect music in a cool way.
With the collaborative album “Vernisage,” she announced a new era for Alwa Alibi. With the EP “DREAMGIRL,” she surpasses herself. The EP excites and provokes equally. Since spring 2026, the four R&B tracks, with drums that make you want to dance, and quick-witted lyrics have been available. The songs convey lesbian self-confidence and play with masculinity images. Despite the content, Alwa Alibi does not neglect clever flows and catchy melodies.
