Espuma Antigua subtly combines baroque and contemporary music, drawing from modern jazz and improvisation. Founded in 2018 by singer and multi-instrumentalist Flora Ageron, the quartet transcends classical vocabulary, bringing to life works that have partly been forgotten. With a deliberately eclectic repertoire, the musicians create unexpected encounters, such as with Isabella Leonarda and Ariel Ramírez, resulting in music that is both free and melancholic. Espuma Antigua invites you on a journey through the centuries to rediscover the poetry of early music.

In 2026–27, jazz will take center stage at Noda WKB – multifaceted, surprising, and limitless! Seven concerts invite you to explore the diversity of the Swiss West scene: jazz and improvisation meet Afro-Brazilian rhythms, hip-hop, baroque influences, and contemporary sounds. The Nodathèque will become a vibrant meeting point for new sounds, unexpected encounters, and music beyond all boundaries.
