First Aid for Children

Description

A brief moment of inattention is enough and the little ones already have something in their mouth or their fingers on the stove. It is good to know how to act correctly in such unexpected situations and keep a cool head. In the course "First Aid for Children" you will learn important measures to be able to intervene correctly in a medical emergency. In addition, you will gain confidence in dealing with emergencies involving children.

Course content:
The course covers the basics of first aid in pediatric emergencies. In addition to the basics, the course focuses on the following topics:

Accident prevention
Choking / suffocation in childhood
Breathing problems
Febrile seizures and convulsions
Injuries and bone fractures
Practical training for emergencies
Burns / scalds
Home pharmacy

Individual questions related to emergencies in childhood are gladly answered in the course.

The course takes place in a small group of a maximum of 12 people. One instructor per 6 participants.

Course location: Muri Hospital, Rescue Service Training Room (GOPS)

Course fee: CHF 290 per participant including course materials and parking, excluding catering. Reduction of CHF 20 in total for couples registering together or simultaneous registration of a second person (e.g., colleague). The reduction also applies if the second person attends on a different course day. Please also note our general terms and conditions for courses.
