Description
In short: A musical road movie where memories, images, and stories merge into a multi-layered live performance. For decades, Erika Stucky has moved between jazz, American folk tradition, experimental music, and Alpine yodeling with a distinctive voice and radical stage presence. Now, the singer and performer opens her personal archive: photographs and film recordings from over fifty years of artistic work become the starting point of an evening where memories, music, and stories intertwine. Together with percussionist Lucas Niggli and guitarist Oli Hartung, Stucky combines images, songs, and tour anecdotes into a multi-layered performance between concert, storytelling, and road movie. For the Bern performance, the ensemble is complemented by the feminist yodel choir Echo vom Eierstock, directed by Simone Felber. An evening that brings past and present into conversation – personal, surprising, and full of musical adventures.
