In this show, your objects take center stage! This improvisation show full of surprises is dedicated to the most exciting form of social exchange. Following the unwrapping of gifts, touching insights into the past of a personal item or icy revenge plans? This evening, we explore giving in all its facets, from the free gift box to the irreplaceable one-of-a-kind item. We follow the lovers when a present melts hearts. We see how something highly dramatic turns out of a sock. And will the robbers experience their blue surprise when they unpack their "gift" from the Louvre?
Perhaps, because what happens and what is found in the packages, we do not know in advance. We play with the objects brought by our audience members, and everything this evening is created spontaneously and inspired by your suggestions! At "to Give Away," the audience is welcome to bring (wrapped or unwrapped) items for the show and/or for subsequent giving and exchanging! We incorporate your packages directly into the scenes and let ourselves be surprised and inspired during improvisation. And maybe, after the show, one or another object will find a new, loving home... As Ensemble Ra! Ra! Ra!, professional artists from the Freiburg improvisation theater scene develop and perform surprisingly new and exciting formats, very close to the audience. After the recent "who gets the train" and the "Word*Wine*Night," we are very much looking forward to this premiere at the Cargo Theater in H15. In "to Give Away," the performers include: Verena Keck, Tamara Burk, Nils Hüttenrauch, and Christoph Hüllstrung.
